For those who prefer a bit more training than the SP programs but would like to keep their investment well under the CYA2 level, we offer an extension to the Super Pup Course Level II titled Custom Young Adult Level I. To best understand CYA Level I keep in mind that last few weeks of SPC Level II specifically introduces the young Dobe to home rule and house breaking.

Thus CYA Level I is an extension of SPC Level II. An ongoing enforcement of the previous program while increasing the young Dobe's freedom as it becomes more responsible in its behavior. Two additional pluses to CYA Level I are the continuation of the pup's obedience: practicing what the pup already knows enhancing the Command part of obedience; adding introduction to travel taking the pup through the nauseous stage related to motion when necessary while beginning to set the rules of vehicle travel.

In actuality you have at least three trainers and support staff helping lessen the time you have to spend in follow up. Literally for every week we spend setting up the rules you save two to three weeks of your time setting up the education that will carry the pup through adolescence and on through life. Not bad for what averages out to be under $30.00 a day for a program that is backed by more than a half century of experience working exclusively with the Dobe.

In the end the CYA Programs prove to be a crash course on life in the real world. We have taken the pup to the point that the owner only needs to expand on the pup's training through repetition as in practice makes perfect and add further knowledge by first hand experiences once the pup begins its new life.
