The Natural Ear

While I personally like the alert and ready-to-defend look of the cropped-eared Dobe on alert, some of you may prefer the European or softer look. a Dobe who has not had its ears cropped. This too would be the way to alter the aggressive look of the Dobe a bit if public acceptance is in your plans. Just let us know, and we will leave the ears natural. Note: all guarantees are void if you have the Hoytt Dobe cropped after placement* with one exception: those who themselves are Veterinarians and want to show off their own crop design but with one exception to date ( 10-30-08 ) those who are practicing veterinarians prefer the kid be done by those who know the end development appearance of the Dobe being acquired.

*This is not the time to try and save a few dollars if in fact that is possible when all the costs of Crop are finally presented. Most importantly the quality of the operation during and the design as well as the post-surgical care related to comfort and stance expectation. But our reasons are more logical. Folks come to us for the Hoytt Dobe not an almost Hoytt Dobe and if the kid has to come back as a pre-owned it already has a gray area related to care and manners. Adding how an operation, or operations  went will just make re-homing more complicated.
