While I personally like the alert and ready-to-defend look of the cropped-eared Dobe, some of you may prefer the European look: a Dobe who has not had its ears cropped. This too would be the way to soften the aggressive look of the Dobe if more public acceptance is in your plans. Just let us know, and we will leave the ears natural at no extra charge to you. Note: all guarantees are void if you have the Hoytt Dobe cropped after placement with one exception: those who themselves are Veterinarians and want to show off their own crop design.
