Here's a very special boy who not only received his AKC Companion Dog working title in a record three shows, but he is part of the Magic 200 Club (the top 200 youngest Dobes, almost everyone a Hoytt Dobe, to receive an AKC title). A showman at only ten months, he set additional records by being the first dog of any breed (at his age) who in just three showings took High In Trial (HIT).
For those who have never attended a trial imagine this: more dogs of varied breeds at one location then you've ever seen, most having spent years learning competition obedience and this 'child' out preformed every dog showing at all levels including a Top 20 Dog. Of course, once more this Hoytt Dobe was the youngest dog showing to qualify.
With every pre-placement program we offered, including "The Presidents Course," this "Grand Victor" was presented to the Hillard family on March 31, 2005. He was already an experienced and well mannered traveler who was wonderfully socialized with children and adults alike. Add family guardian, and all can sleep better at night. If left to watch the family residence or head out for a day at the office, whether during business hours or during a late night 'catch up' with 'dad', this boy will show just what a gentleman he is.
When a few dozen guests come over for a social or business gathering or when he attends the latest store opening, the boy will leave everyone that meets him in awe - for what he can be, and what he is now is unobtainable through any other source. He will soon be able to step into the most complex of public situations and talk himself into the Presidency.
Privately he will always be the loving, happy character with a sense of humor that will not be lost at any age and will always be ready to give everything his family expects of him.
